Stand Up For Seaton (SU4S)

Community Action for Seaton's Regeneration Area, 80% owned by Tesco - a floodplain on a World Heritage site bordered by nature reserves, tidal river, the sea and the unspoilt town. SU4S is a state of mind - no members, no structure, no politics. SU4S has objected to 2 planning applications by Tesco, including one for a massive superstore/dot com distribution centre which led to the recent closure on the site of 400 tourist beds with the loss of 150 jobs,a gym and pool - all used by locals.

Does this mean Tesco have bought Liatris or that they have bought the land from Liatris ?
The answer to this must make a difference in terms of the present application and how EDDC need to treat it.

As far as I understand it, Tesco has bought the land that Liatris owned, not Liatris the company.
This land would be the old BlueWater site, the land that the existing holiday camp is on and a bit of marshland.
As another commentator has noted, it will be interesting to see if any arrangements made between Liatris and Hollybush are still valid.

My understanding from EDDC is that a planning application may have a change of Agent & continue to be considered. If it is a change of ownership then a new application should be submitted.
