Stand Up For Seaton (SU4S)

Community Action for Seaton's Regeneration Area, 80% owned by Tesco - a floodplain on a World Heritage site bordered by nature reserves, tidal river, the sea and the unspoilt town. SU4S is a state of mind - no members, no structure, no politics. SU4S has objected to 2 planning applications by Tesco, including one for a massive superstore/dot com distribution centre which led to the recent closure on the site of 400 tourist beds with the loss of 150 jobs,a gym and pool - all used by locals.

I'll be in to show my support.
It's about time we had some fresh faces instead of the political nonsense.

Just read the flyer that came through the door last night. It seems a well balanced team and I hope enough of you get in to create a snowball effect to improve Seaton. We need new blood

Yes, we do need as many of us as possible to get in - safety in numbers!

I can't think of any other group that can offer candidates in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s - and we all work really well together as a team.

Message from Malcolm of Seaton..
Good luck in the forthcoming election. You are right in what you say and if enough of you get elected then you may be able to freshen things up a bit. That has to be good for the town.
Here's a little rhyme for your team to reflect on. I hope enough voters turn out to support you all.
Best of luck.......

Time For Change ?

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a gifted team
Of councillors and business folk who shared a common dream.
They'd unite as one to turn our town into a fighting power,
And pulling all together would create our finest hour.

Seaton would rise up again and be a tour-de-force,
All would prosper in the wake as progress took its course,
All would have good fortune and share in civic pride,
and a vision for the future could begin to be applied.

If all adults would use their vote on this important day,
then maybe things could change and we'd really have a 'say'.
By choosing those with qualities that show they are a fighter,
then Seaton could look forward to a future that is Brighter.
